We will store your order for up to 100 days free of charge if you require delayed shipment. After 100 days, you will be assessed a fee of $3 per day for storage.
Shipping
We will begin to process your order as soon as it is placed. All orders ship out within 3 business days from the order date unless you specify otherwise. We hold orders (no storage fees) for up to 100 days if you require delayed shipment. Same day shipping must be requested by 1pm EST. Please contact us immediately if there is a problem or question with your order so that we can correct such issues before shipment. All deliveries are curbside, as our delivery drivers are not allowed to enter the premises ("premises" includes driveway, yard, carport, etc) unless you specifically request this service, for which there may be additional fees assessed to you. Inside delivery of goods is to a garage or carport only and does not include delivery inside of the residence. Shippers may not be able to provide inside delivery if premises is on a steep incline or if there is even a slight step up - please alert Ambient of such obstacles before delivery. Shippers may refuse to drive up roads comprised of dirt, gravel, or any other non-paved surfaces, or surfaces that are at a steep incline.
Shipping is not guaranteed. It is very rare, but occassionaly the shipping terminal will forget to load an order onto that day's outgoing delivery truck (we are all human!). If you want to avoid this, you can purchase guaranteed shipping service, however extra charges will apply - please request this service from Ambient well before your delivery date. Either way, it is recommended that you contact the
shipping agent the day of or day before you are to receive the goods to confirm your delivery. Ambient is not responsible for the shipping company - only the purchase of guaranteed shipping service will ensure that your shipment arrives in the time window that has been scheduled. There is no recourse available to you if you have not purchased guaranteed shipping.
Please make sure that the delivery truck will have access to your home. If
the goods need to be transferred to a smaller vehicle, you (the buyer) will be responsible for those costs. Delivery fees
that have already been paid will not be refunded if there is an issue of
accessibility to your home.
Upon receipt of
order, please consider the following:
1) Are there any damages to the cartons/shipping boxes?
2) Have you received the exact number of pallets AND boxes that is written on your bill of lading/waybill?
IF YOU DO NOT MAKE A NOTE OF DAMAGES OR SHORTAGE OF PRODUCT ON THE DRIVER'S BILL OF LADING, YOU WILL NOT BE REFUNDED FOR DAMAGED OR MISSING GOODS. NO EXCEPTIONS. We strongly recommend that you look at the Bill of Lading sample at the bottom of this document.
Check for the following:
1) Is the flooring free of irregularities?
2) Does the color and profile of the product that you have received match what you ordered?
3) Are there errors in milling,
finish, or any other irregularities that you have found in your
order?
YOU MUST REPORT ANY ISSUES WITH YOUR PRODUCT WITHIN 7 DAYS OF RECEIPT OF ORDER OR YOU WILL NOT BE REFUNDED FOR DAMAGED GOODS. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you find issue
with any of the questions above, please contact us immediately at
(866)710.7070. Our products are warranted only if these issues are
reported prior to installation.
Important note:
Bamboo flooring has different color variations, often within the same batch -
some planks are going to be lighter/darker than other planks due to natural
variations in the bamboo plant and manufacturing process. Make sure that
you lay out the flooring before installation in case there is a need to mix and
match differing planks to create an evenly colored floor.
Returns
All moldings sales are final once the moldings are shipped. We do not accept returns on moldings. No exceptions. If you cancel your order for any reason, you are subject to a 20% restocking fee, whether your order has left our warehouse or not. Please be sure to read the warranty information for your purchased product. If you have not received the quantity that is on the bill of lading/waybill, or the flooring is damaged upon delivery, you must have the driver note this on the bill of lading/waybill or else you will not receive a refund for damaged or missing pieces. All damages or discrepancies must be reported within 7 days of receipt of goods. In case of improper milling or product defects, the flooring will be replaced according to warranty, and no charges will be assessed to you. If the flooring is returned due to any other circumstance, the customer is responsible for all return freight charges. The returned product must be in the same condition it was in when originally shipped by us. Any damages that were not reported to us within the designated time period will not be refunded.
Sale
Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse sale to anyone for any reason. We are not responsible for any errors or omissions on this site.
