Bring it Inside: Carry or wheel the flooring into the room where it will be installed. Avoid dragging it across the floor, as this can damage the flooring.
Prepare for Acclimation: Remove the flooring from its packaging. Place the flooring boxes flat on the floor in the room where it will be installed. Keep them away from direct sunlight, heating vents, and air conditioning units. Leave the flooring to acclimate for the recommended time, typically between 48 to 72 hours. This allows the flooring to adjust to the temperature and humidity of the room, which helps prevent issues like buckling or warping after installation.
